Community Impact

Our impact

Every child deserves access to stories that reflect their world, their dreams and their potential. Teens Reaching Teens works with local schools, universities and community organizations to bring reading experiences and book donations directly to the students who need them most.

Partnering with SMU to inspire the next generation of readers

Reading to students at Frank Guzick Elementary during the SMU book day

Teens Reaching Teens, with our literacy partner Lil’ Marco and Friends, joined SMU Cox School of Business MBA students to donate dozens of children’s books to students at Frank Guzick Elementary in Dallas.

It was more than a book drop. It was a celebration of literacy, diversity and community. Together, we shared stories that reflect the faces and experiences of our children, encouraging every student to dream big and believe in their potential.

Empowering young readers with the Dallas Mavericks

Through the Dallas Mavericks Business Assist program, Teens Reaching Teens and Lil’ Marco and Friends provided free books to the students of Adelle Turner Elementary School in Dallas.

Each donated book was hand-delivered with a message of hope, representation and kindness, showing how local businesses and nonprofits can work together to close the literacy gap across North Texas.
